"Kaubanan" comes from the Cebuano word Kauban, meaning companion, partner, or someone who stands beside another. Every member of KCI is a Kauban — someone willing to help fellow members and communities.

Yes. Professionals from all fields — including healthcare, education, business, engineering, law, agriculture, government, and other sectors — are welcome.

Yes. KCI values the wisdom and experience of senior citizens and welcomes them as respected members of the organization.

Yes. Qualified young adults who support the mission and objectives of KCI are encouraged to join and participate in civic and volunteer activities.

KCI may establish voluntary assistance programs and community support initiatives in accordance with its policies and available resources. Assistance is subject to organizational guidelines and should not be interpreted as an insurance or guaranteed financial benefit.

No. KCI is not a health insurance provider. However, members may receive volunteer support, community assistance, fundraising efforts, and other forms of aid as provided under KCI programs.

KCI may organize voluntary community support and mutual aid activities during the loss of a member or an immediate family member, subject to its established policies and available resources.

KCI may organize community outreach, medical and wellness missions, feeding programs, tree planting, disaster response, blood donation drives, educational seminars, livelihood projects, youth development, environmental activities, leadership training, and volunteer programs.

A Kaubaniary is the official community center or gathering place of Kaubanan Civic Club, Inc., where members conduct meetings, fellowship activities, volunteer planning, leadership development, and community service.

Membership dues and contributions, if any, are determined by the Board of Directors and are used to support the organization's programs and operations. Presently, KCI implements the "Pre-Pledge 200" — an advance pledge top-up to a member's e-wallet found in the member's virtual site.

Yes. KCI welcomes partnerships with responsible businesses, professionals, and organizations that support community development and social responsibility.

Partner Merchants are accredited establishments that collaborate with KCI by offering special privileges, discounts, rewards, or exclusive benefits to KCI members. Partner merchants are called "KaubanMart".

Members are encouraged to participate in civic activities according to their availability, skills, and capacity. Every contribution — whether through time, expertise, or support — is valued.
